The visual standard work on the most reputed poster designer of the Art Deco period. His drawings have become part of the Art Deco DNA. Looking at the auction proceeds of his work Cassandre can be regarded as the most sought after poster designer of the 20th century without much discussion. In this book, 30 posters from the “golden”period, 1925-1936 are discussed. There are pictures used of copies from the archives of the printer Henri Mouron. Every image is worth of framing.
