Bořek Šípek (Prague, 14 June 1949 - 13 February 2016) was a prominent Czech architect and designer. He was mostly known for his individualist, unusual, colourful and unique style. Bořek Šípek has been named the father of the "neo-baroque". He was based in Amsterdam from 1983 to 1989.
After that, he returned to Prague, where he was professor in architecture and design at the academy for art, architecture and design. Bořek Šípek was a knight in the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
