Erik Magnussen, born 1940, graduated in 1960 as a ceramist. In 1972, he was the successor of Arne Jacobsen as resident designer of the Stelton company. The co-operation between the company and Magnussen was very successful. Many new designs were created, including this gimbal oil lamp for luxury shipping. Magnussen aspires to limit all of his designs to their essence. His designs are exhibited worldwide. He has also won countless prizes, height of lamp:
