ADLER TIPPA S typewriter, Germany 1971, typewriter
The TIPPA S goes back to a development from the Gossen company in Erlangen, Germany, which has successfully sold the GOSSEN TIPPA in Europe since 1948. In 1956, ADLER-WERKE took over the manufacturing rights and offered the continually further developing TIPPA under the brand names ADLER and TRIUMPH.
The small and light typewriter (portable) weighed only 4 kg and was popular mainly in the field of representatives, commercial travellers, and journalists, and could be carried in a briefcase as well.
This machine has been completely cleaned by an expert and tested. All parts are original and working perfectly. The typeface is clear and without fault. It comes in the original hard shell case.
Size of the box 31x31x8cm. (measured without handle)
The machine is impressive with its striking design from the 1960s in a rich bordeaux red... It obviously hasn’t been used much; a few minor signs of use are barely visible. Please look at the pictures, as they are part of the description.
It will be carefully packed and sent insured.
The advertisement on image 4 is taken from the book "the history of the typewriter factories" by L. Dingwerth.
