Rare Zenith Movado Museum watch. The first museum watch was introduced to the marked as early as 1947 by Movado. The black-painted dial with the 'sun' at 12 o'clock is a very characteristic model. The watch originates from the 1969–1970 period, when Zenith entered the Mondia-Zenith-Movado group. It is equipped with the Zenith 1740 movement. Which was produced by Zenith between 1967 and 1969. Most museum watches that are for sale are fitted with a quartz movement and stem from the post-1990 period, after Zenith and Movado have parted ways again. Most of these museum watches feature yellow gold plating. This watch is made with a white gold-plated bezel, steel lid and silver-coloured sun. The case measures 31 x 36 x 7 mm excluding crown. The leather strap is in good condition. The strap measures 19 cm in length. The crown is signed with the 'inverted star' logo.
