Rare set of 6 handmade items consisting of 1 decanter and 5 stem glasses
famous “Tre Fuochi” glasses, Murano, Venice, Italy - circa 1960
The glass items are decorated in Murano with 24 kt gold "sgraffito" and many colored enamels. The 24-Karat gold leaf and enamel are applied by hand to the glass with a traditional technique. When the decoration has been achieved, the piece is heated in a furnace called "muffola", where it remains pegged until it reaches a temperature of about 520°C and the gold and the enamel fuse with the glass.
Antique set of the ancient Venetian tradition.
