Michael Jackson personally owned worn black hat Billie Jean fedora
Black fedora especially made for & worn by King of Pop Michael Jackson.
Jackson is said to have first requested a fedora for the legendary Motown 25 anniversary special in 1983.
Jackson requested: "Please order me a spy's hat, like a cool fedora, something a secret agent would wear." See autobiography Moonwalk. The fedora became an element of Michael Jackson's iconic style.
This fedora was given by Michael to a customs employee at LAX (Los Angeles) airport.
At first the employee refused, but Michael insisted, I want you to have it.
The employee was not really a Michael Jackson fan but later acknowledged Michael was the kindest celebrity he'd ever met. This happened April 2002
The fedora is in good condition, has some minor make-up stains inside.
And has a special silk interior, making this a rarer piece.
For reference a newspaper clipping with MJ holding a fedora with similar inside lining will be added.
Seller guarantees the authenticity of this fedora and will provide a COA.
Also the photo* of Michael wearing a similar fedora will be added.
