A lovely excellent painted Japanese Kutani porcelain plate with a central decoration of six scholars and warriors with different attributes in a classical Kutani colour scheme (different tones of red, gold and black). In the border a classical decoration of stylised objects. Handcrafted in ancient Japan during the Meiji period. On the back a six character seal and six stylised florals.
Diameter: 21,9 centimeter.
Condition: This object is in absolute very good condition with some minor wear, glaze crackle, one minute mouse bite or baking flaw. Without any hairlines or restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
