This sib tarogato is a very rare model made by Venzel József SCHUNDA, Budapest luthier. It dates back to the late 19th or early 20th century
Beautiful instrument, all original
Beautifully crafted pearwood, no cracks, no defects. Note the rare presence of a boxwood barrel
The coat of arms of Hungary and the inscription "SCHUNDA V. J. BUDAPEST" are engraved at the top of the body, the bottom and on the Pavilion.
It has been completely restored:
The tenons were equipped with cork for a better seal.
All "Martin Chanu" pads are new, white leather; the octave key is equipped with a cork buffer'.
The keys and the ferrules have been polished and shine.
The wood has been cleaned and oiled with tung oil.
The wooden mouthpiece, originally too tight has been reworked and is fully operational with a 1 Sib clarinet reed.
In perfect playing condition, gives a beautiful and powerful sound; It has been thoroughly reviewed.
